Productive Plastics, Inc. has openings for the following positions at our facility in Mt. Laurel, NJ:
Manufacturing Engineer
Duties:
- Improve manufacturing process for existing products with implementation of lean manufacturing tools.
- Validate process after reviewing results of production runs.
- Evaluate designed cycle time, sequence of operations, production throughput, and yield.
- Ensure effective utilization of manufacturing resources including manpower, machines and materials to meet calculated cost and quality requirements.
- Work with design team to design tolls, assembly fixtures, manufacturing process parameters and standardize manufacturing steps on bill of materials and work instruction sheet.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or related field with at least two (2) years of experience in job offered or related occupation.
- Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
Machine Operator
Functional Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and assembly fixtures to make parts
- Train other employees
- Adhere to company policy
- Accurate production reporting
- Follow provided work instruction and standards
- Verify accuracy of BOM, work instructions, and standards
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make product according to customer quality specifications
- Perform to schedule
- Report any safety issues
- Report any equipment malfunction/failure
- Maintain workplace according to 5S methodology
Paint Prep and Pack Operator
Functional Responsibilities:
- Perform Proper paint preparation Process.
- Perform Proper packing process including any OC processes.
- Train other employees
- Adhere to company policy including PPE.
- Accurate production reporting
- Follow provided work instruction and standards
- Verify Accuracy of BOM, Work Instructions, and Standards Participate in continuous improvement activities
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make product according to customer quality specifications
- Use of hand tools for completing processes.
- Assembly fixtures to make parts
- Attaching decals, gaskets, and other assembly items to compete parts.
- Perform to schedule
- Report any safety issues
- Report any equipment malfunction/failure
- Maintain workplace according to 5S methodology
